Art of Defence Weaponry

The type of weaponry we teach is derived from the Cheng Ming Internal Kung Fu Systems. Weapons used include 2 types of swords, short stick, long pole, spear and sabre.

Everyone is invited to try and see if you are well suited to learning these special patterns utilising wooden weaponry.

Students are able to grade in this specialised syllabus to Black Belt level and beyond.

Sessions run for an intensive 45 mins at our Keilor, Bacchus Marsh and Ascot Vale dojos at 10.00am each Saturday.

If you are already training in either the Karate or Kung Fu programs, cross training to incorporate weaponry will only cost an extra $5 per week.

New Member Details

Art of Defence Australia recommends New Members come to one of our facilities for 2 FREE trial lessons.

ADA extends an 'open door policy' ensuring anyone can participate in our programs despite age, gender, creed or martial history.

Upon joining our community, New Members receive a martial arts uniform FREE of charge.

Tuition Fees

Tuition is based on school terms (averaging ten weeks per term).

Fees may be paid at the commencement of each term:

Primary x 1 session weekly $135 or multiple sessions $180

Secondary x 1 session weekly $150 or unlimited sessions $200

Seniors x 1 session weekly $165 or unlimited sessions $220

Annual fees may be paid in advance attracting a 10% discount.

Cross training is priced at an additional $100 per term for unlimited sessions for those who wish to participate in Karate, Weaponry or Kung Fu classes.

Alternatively, you may choose to pay in 26 convenient fortnightly instalments. The choice is yours. This fee permits unlimited training in your selected style of martial art/s. This encourages students to attend on a multiple basis, helping to process absorbed information.

Art of Defence Australia encourages family involvement and extends discounts to families with multiple training members.

Membership is paid annually and covers all students for national and international martial art affiliation, dissemination of knowledge through a network of Master Instructors, eligibility concerning official martial upgrades, discounts to seminars and special camps, and coverage on our Martial Art Student Accident Insurance Policy. Plus you receive a really cool ADA Membership Gift every year.

Please Note: No classes are held during the Victorian State Primary School Holidays, or on public holiday weekends.
